Wine Tour Planning Tips

We truly believe the best wine tours are those that are well-planned. Making advanced reservations for a group of 6 or more is a must for any winery. This can sometimes be done the day of but we highly recommend making your reservations at least a few days in advance.

Plan to eat! Do the wineries have cafes or do you want to include a restaurant in your timeline for brunch or dinner? There are so many amazing places to eat, just call our representative for a list.

Music is essential for taking a wine tour to the next level. Our limos feature some state of the art stereos and sound systems. Be sure to build a playlist on your phone or on Spotify or another streaming app. Take a poll with your guest to make sure you load up everyone’s favorite tunes.

I appreciated the itinery I received once the trip and timeline was confirmed, it helped me map out the day as I was planning the event. John our driver reached out to me a few days in advanced and gave me his contact information in case I needed anything. It was nice reassurance that plans were set and Altamont was well prepared.

We first used Altamont Limo for a local wine tasting trip and then again for a concert in SF. The sounds system, the cleanliness of the limo, the comfy seating (extra bonus to be able to stand) and professional/friendly drivers definitely set Altamont Limo apart from other companies.
